My commissions and performances in this field have taken many forms and this work I find extremely enjoyable. Most recently, in September 2009,  I co-wrote the music for 'The Ragged Lion' by Alan Massie which toured the south of Scotland. Other highlights include composing and performing my music for the following:

1994 'Bridges and Bridging the Tweed' - Rideout Theatre Company
1991  'A Song for Yarrow' & 'Lady John Scott' - for the Festival of Ballads and Legends
1990 'Adventure of Love and Magic' by Judy Steel - Mull Little Theatre and Edinburgh Festival Fringe
1989 'The Minstrel and the Shirra' - Alan Massie - toured Skye, USA, and at Edinburgh International Festival
